Early Antique Wooden Shoe Shine Box - Dovetailed W/Cast Iron Footrest - $39 (New Hartford)

This is one of the earliest pieces I have seen for an antique show shine box.
Original dovetailed wood with a cast iron footrest.
The box measures 10 1/2" long by 6 3/4" wide.
There are metal tabs that lock the cover in place.
There is a split in the wood on the cover that goes from top to bottom.
You can either glue it or keep it as is.
It has a great look! $39.
