Up for sale is a Rare 19th Century Cortland Desk Co.
Drop Front Desk with Adjustable Bookcase base.
It measures 33 inches wide, 13 inches deep and stands 65 inches tall.
Beautiful cutouts, carved details and brass mounts.
There are two small drawers at top and two adjustable shelves at the bottom.
The key that locks the drop down desk also locks the top two drawers.
The original key escutcheon reads “Cortland Desk Co.

Patented Feb.

” The original label is on back and a stamp as well.
There is also a brass rod at the top of the bookshelf section if you would like to hang a curtain to cover the bookcase section.
