Teacher for pre-kindergarten

The Pre-K program at Thea Bowman House follows the same calendar as the Utica City School District school year which is September to June.
It involves following a curriculum that instructs children who are 4 years old by December of the current year.
The teacher has a morning class and an afternoon class each consisting of 2 1/2 hours.
The teacher ideally would have a valid NYS teaching certificate and be on a track of permanent certification.
Candidates will also be interviewed for the position if they have a bachelor's degree in a child related field.
The teacher must be familiar with doing skills assessments for the children as indicated by the program and be able to work with two assistant teachers under his or her direction.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37,000.
00 - $38,000.
