Annual Non-Exempt Salary: $37,850 (plus 5% bilingual differential)

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Communicate with health insurance companies related to authorizations of services.
Process, maintain documentation, and ensure the accuracy of incoming program referrals and authorizations.
Monitor and track ongoing authorizations and Medicaid eligibility.
Contact authorizing source and program staff of expiring authorizations.
Research, respond to, and correct errors with rosters and reauthorizations.
Education:
A College Degree in Human Services or related field is required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Entry Level position.
Training will be provided.
One-to-two years of customer service experience.
Experience working with authorizations for services and insurance companies preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Medicaid is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Fluency and proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) in a second language, Spanish is preferred, this is not required for this position.
