You will be joining over 200 employees that are responsible from design to delivery of our product, all in one facility.
The role will be supporting a manufacturing cell, responsible for improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through applying scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement solutions.
The work is independent and as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating in real time using the latest communication tools.
The primary customer is our operations team, which will utilize the technologies, components, machines, tools, and systems we provide to produce critical flight safety components.

The role requires significant direct interaction with products and operations and is therefore an onsite role at our facility in Rome, NY.
Eligible for relocation Primary Responsibilities: Planning and designing manufacturing processes and specification requirements to ensure full utilization of manufacturing equipment.
Designs and plans the layout of equipment, process, and material.
Develops design, selection, specification, and optimization of the required equipment, fixtures, tooling, gaging, processes, and operations.
Analyzes machinery and equipment designs to ensure factory and production conditions are met.
Coordinates and implements operations sequencing and specification procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
Helps to support existing product line design activities and/or operational process modifications to help enhance products and processes and ensure that current and future business needs are met.
Provides technical leadership and helps train lower-level staff to diagnose and solve problems and build capabilities.
Determines other technical matters required to make a given product according to the desired volume, timetable, cost, quality level, and other specifications.
Monitoring of established processes via data collection for statistical analysis purposes as well as the use of various continuous improvement enablers.
Designs and develops manufacturing processes for products, taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing.
Such design and development may include new or revised processes.
Recommends acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.
Qualifications/Experience Needed: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience U.

Employee Referral Eligible The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
