Oneida Health is seeking a talented Nurse Practitioner (NP) with OBGYN experience to join our outpatient Women’s Health practice in Oneida.
Our experienced team is comprised of three board-certified physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can “hit the ground running” as this practice is positioned for growth.
Compensation: $98,500 to $139,900 per year

What You’ll be Great At:
Assessing and establishing a presumptive diagnosis and implementing treatment plans
Making accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and consults as appropriate and prescribing appropriate medical therapy utilizing evidence-based practice
Prescribing, adjusting, or discontinuing medications or therapies as appropriate
Evaluating and reporting to the physician any circumstances or test results that present a significant risk to the patient's health or well-being
Performing procedures within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner license
Communicating appropriate information to physicians, patients, PCP, and referring staff
Instilling confidence in patients acting as their advocate by providing safe, ethical care and health education to the patient and family

Your Essential Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s of Science in Nursing (Preferred)
License:
NY Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority (Required)
Experience
OBGYN: 3 years (Preferred)
