*Summary:* Community Memorial Hospital is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for healthcare administration.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of the Nursing Administration department and the overall success of Community Memorial Hospital.
*Responsibilities:*
Administrative Support:
* Manage the CNO's daily schedule, appointments, and meetings.
* Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentations, and reports.
* Screen and manage phone calls, emails, and other communications.
* Organize and maintain departmental files, records, and confidential information.
* Make travel arrangements and accommodations as needed.
Project Coordination:
* Assist the CNO in planning, coordinating, and executing various nursing-related projects.
* Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely completion.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Communication and Liaison:
* Serve as the primary point of contact between the CNO and internal/external stakeholders.
* Foster positive relationships with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
* Prepare and disseminate departmental communications on behalf of the CNO.
Data Management:
* Collect and analyze data related to nursing operations, quality initiatives, and patient care.
* Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
* Generate statistical reports and presentations for the CNO.
Administrative Efficiency:
* Collect and analyze data related to nursing operations, staffing, and patient care.
* Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
* Generate statistical reports and presentations for the CNO.
*Qualifications:*
* Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
* Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong proficiency in office software, including MS Office suite.
* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of healthcare administration and medical terminology is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.
00 - $60,000.
