*Responsibilities:* - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles - Perform comprehensive assessments of patient's health status and develop individualized care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques - Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed - Maintain accurate and complete medical records *Requirements:* - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Location] - Minimum [2] years of experience in a medical/surgical setting - Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and documentation - Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles and practices - Ability to catheterize patients as necessary - Competency in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus - Familiarity with family planning methods and counseling - Understanding of infant care practices, including feeding, diapering, and bathing - Proficiency in tube feeding techniques and administration - Knowledge of laboratory procedures and interpretation of results.
Job Type: Contract Pay: $1,920.
