Oneida Health is seeking a full-time talented Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Primary Care network which includes eleven board-certified physicians and seven APPs.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can “hit the ground running.
” Typical hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday with an admin day.
We have APP opportunities in primary care available in Oneida and Verona.
There is no call requirement.
Compensation: $98,500 to $135,000 per year based on experience

What You’ll be Great At:
Assessing and establishing a presumptive diagnosis and implementing treatment plans.
Making accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record (EMR).
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and consults as appropriate and prescribing appropriate medical therapy utilizing evidence-based practice.
Prescribing, adjusting, or discontinuing medications or therapies as appropriate.
Evaluating and reporting to physicians any circumstances or test results that present a significant risk to patient health or well-being.
Performing procedures within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner license.
Communicating appropriate information to physicians, patients, PCP, and referring staff.
Instilling confidence in patients and acting as their advocate by providing safe, ethical care and health education to the patient and family.

Your Essential Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s of Science in Nursing (Preferred)
License:
NY Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority (Required)
Experience
