Home Health Aide

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Aide, who has worked with individuals with Alzheimer and Dementia.
This position is an integral member of a home health care team that provides home health care to an elderly gentleman suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia.
Employees work with a Dually Certified Dementia Specialist.
Hours include: * 1 Friday/month (4 pm - 9 pm), * 1 Saturday/month (8 am - 9 pm), and * Sundays (8 am - 3 pm).
* Also coverage for call ins, vacations, etc.
Responsibilities include: * Assisting with daily ADL's * Providing medication reminders * Some housework and meal prep The ideal candidate will have excellent caregiving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be an avid team player.
Experience with Alzheimers & Dementia a plus.
Must have a minimum of an HHA or PCA certification.
Candidates must have their own reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, be willing to work weekends and overnights, and help cover shifts for vacations and call ins.
The work environment is a lovely one story home with many amenities to aid caregivers in the performance of their duties, located in the village of Hamilton NY.
Competitive wage package offered including shift differentials.
