Description: The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a full time and highly motivated person for our Information Technology Department Team.
Summary: The Technical Support Specialist will provide 1st to 2nd tier technical support to the end-users in the organization and works with their supervisors to complete and follow through with tasks relating to project executables, as needed.
Reports directly to the Information Technology Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinates work projects such as new computer hardware setup or software installations.
Provides technical support—identifying, investigating, and resolving users’ problems with computer software and hardware.
Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
Collaborates with other employees to research and resolve problems.

Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related study preferred; Associates degree in Computer Technology or related study with 1+ years of experience preferred; Or an equivalent of education and experience.
