SUMMARY: Program Plan Coordination - Creates and designs individual staff action plans in assigned programs; provides oversight to ensure goal compliance with staff action plans and life plans.
Ensures internal procedures and other documents satisfy federal, state, and local government requirements.
Community Liaison- Fosters and engages in relationships with local school districts in Madison and Cortland County.
Provides relevant enrollment information and current Programs that MCARC offers to school districts and community at large.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Program Plan Coordination
Coordinates and writes individualized staff action plans for day, residential and vocational programs.
Reviews, approves and amends plans submitted by other authors to ensure compliance with valued outcomes.
Presents staff action plans at annual life plan meeting.
Develops program strategies to obtain individual valued outcomes for individuals within the program(s).
Community Liaison
Maintains a working knowledge of local CCO enrollment processes
Maintains a working knowledge of the OPWDD front door process
Maintains a working knowledge of MCARC services
Fosters relationships with local school districts in Madison/Cortland Counties and presents information on MCARC Programs and OPWDD/CCO enrollment processes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises the program plan coordinators and waiver program liaison.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in designated field for QIDP status and 3-5 years’ related experience required.
