*Join the Secure Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Team*
Secure Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (STARC), a NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility, is currently recruiting Psychologists for their secure residential centers in Marcy and Ogdensburg, NY.
STARC provides evidence-based treatment in a secure and therapeutic environment consistent with best practices in the field of sex offense-specific treatment.
The goal of STARC is to help individuals reduce their risk to sexually reoffend, develop their ability to make healthy choices, and prepare them to live safely in their communities when they are appropriate for release.
*Psychologists at STARC:*
· Provide professional psychological services to individuals on inpatient units
· Provide court-ordered assessment, treatment, and expert testimony
· Develop and implement treatment plans
· Provide individual and group psychotherapy
· Maintain records and write reports
· Provide clinical leadership
· Provide program management

*Minimum Qualifications*
· Psychologist 1
o Master's degree in psychology *and *
o 2 years of supervised, post-degree psychology experience in a clinical, forensic, community mental health, or school setting.
· Psychologist 2
o Master's degree in psychology *and *
o 3 years of supervised, post-degree psychology experience in a clinical, forensic, community mental health, or school setting.
· Associate Psychologist
o Doctoral degree in a clinical field of psychology *and *
o *Either *1 year, full-time pre-doctoral clinical internship *or *1 year of psychology experience in a clinical setting, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
· Licensed Psychologist
o License and current registration to practice psychology in New York State.
