Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to join our team.
This role is pivotal in implementing and maintaining our systems software and infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability and performance.
As a Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers, IT personnel, and vendors to optimize our systems and provide top-tier support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Implement new systems software and modifications without adverse effects on current production or testing.
Assist with management and monitoring of installed systems and infrastructure.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Prepare material for Systems Analysts, Programmers, and Operations personnel that describes effects and new requirements resulting from changes to system software.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Provide technical guidance and support to application development staff.
Define and enforce appropriate technical standards and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred; Concentration in business and/or computer science or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of relevant experience in system administration or system engineering
English Language Proficiency both written and verbal
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
Master’s degree in a related field.
7 to 10 years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration.
Proficiency in virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Comprehensive knowledge of network protocols, database management (SQL, NoSQL), and ITIL best practices
Salary Range: $85,300-$127,900
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
