This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days/month in-office.
Essential Functions:
Ensures timely completion of assigned file reviews, calibration sessions and analysis reports to leadership.
Applies advanced knowledge of the claims process, policies & procedures, systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement and adherence to applicable legal and regulatory compliance standards when conducting file reviews.
Identifies claim handling trends by applying advanced industry knowledge to discipline practices to produce recommendations for improvement opportunities.
Effectively communicates observations to all levels of leadership and provides substantiate feedback and coaching to associates.
Work closely with the Director of Field Claim Operations, line of business Directors and regional leadership to ensure compliance with claim handling, practices and procedures.
Provide training and support to the Claims field leadership and frontline Claims staff.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Claims Quality and Strategy.
Education: 4-year college degree preferred.
Experience: 4-8 years' claims experience, demonstrating expertise in underlying coverages, broad background in litigated matters and development.
Solid understanding and experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
Background across multiple liability/casualty areas including commercial general liability and auto.
Leadership experience preferred.
Salary range: $86,800 - $120,000
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
