Location: Syracuse/Rome, NY (Initial training in Rome, NY)
Starting Salary - $56,713/year to $88,735/year actual rates will depend on experience.
Hybrid remote opportunities available after initial onsite training.
Must have ability to be on-site 2-3 days a week at our Rome, NY location.

The Position:
AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Network Administrator who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve.
You will ensure the stable operation of enterprise data, voice and video networks and maintains multiple remote networks.
This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware and communication links.
Support the administration and operation of MTS policies and programs that support and further the goals of the credit union.
Supports the implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN, and server architecture.
Assists and implements new solutions after hours and on weekends as needed to reduce the impact during production hours.
Support evolving Cyber Security initiatives with monitoring and acting upon toolset alerts, evaluating effectiveness, and suggesting improvements as the industry and technology changes.
Will work with new technology often to strengthen skill sets and maximize career path opportunities.
As a Network Administrator your primary responsibilities will be to:
Design, develop, implement and support day to day operational network that provides the necessary uptime for organizational success.
Provides support and technical expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, SIP, and router management protocols.
Maintain a modern network architecture, authentication practices and security administration.
Administers, Monitors, Configures Meraki SD-Wan solution.
Administers, monitors, and maintains firewalls, VPN (Virtual Private Networking) access and IPSs.
Manage and Configure networking in a multi-cloud environment.
Assist with the maintenance and updating of the Network Access Control system, Data Loss Prevention solution and Multi-factor authentication solution.
Designs, develops, implements, and maintains the network asset inventory database, including lifecycle management of all systems.
Design, develop, and implement communication services.
Troubleshoots communication services for all voice and data needs.
Works with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.
Assists in the design, development, and implementation of necessary disaster recovery services.
Applies superior troubleshooting skills on all support desk services received from Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians, in a timely manner.
Is required to maintain an agreed to level of response times for all requests.
Tracks and reports back to the Manager, Member Technology Infrastructure when response and resolution SLA (service level agreements) requirements are in jeopardy.
Maintains an agreed to uptime of application systems throughout the organization.
Plans, designs, and implements new tools for the purpose of supporting current or new MTS SLA’s.
Works effectively as a resource on projects as assigned to support Balanced Scorecard initiatives.
May be assigned the lead on internal Member Technology Services projects.
Requires the ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tracks at the same time.
