*Summary: *The Maverix Health LLC.
– Administrator will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all clinical and business activities and operations of the organization.
The cases at a multi-specialty center are more involved in nature, require specialized staffing, offer anesthesia services, and are longer in duration.
*Essential Responsibilities *will include the following, and other duties may be assigned.
Operational Management Duties: * Provides direction and evaluation for the organization’s programs and activities, including but not limited to the quality council, performance improvement, risk management, and safety through delegation of responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
* Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates activities of clinical and business operations of a multi-specialty surgery center to ensure professional medical and nursing care.
* Develops and implements policies and procedures to enhance daily operations.
* Develops, directs, evaluates, and administers financial and personnel policies.
* Researches, designs, and provides company direction for employee training and motivation initiatives that reflect company core values while meeting key performance indicators.
Corporate Operations and Benchmarking Duties: * Acts as liaison between the Leadership team and employees.
* Develops annual goals and objectives for the surgery center while comparing against established contract standards or benchmarks.
* Develops and oversees financial relationship agreements between the organization and appropriate affiliates and partners; Determine business line budgets in collaboration with relevant affiliates and establish expense levels.
* Develops, monitors, and reports on the center's ability to meet key performance indicators and metrics to Executive Leadership.
* Delivers on performance commitments and achieves identified volumes to ensure center success.
* Monitors and advises Executive Leadership of market trends that impact clinical and physician peer review activities, performance improvements, and financial performance of the center.
* Provides annual evaluation reports to Executive Leadership that critique center programs.
Credentialing and Regulations Duties: * Tracks, monitors, and assist employees in obtaining credentials for appropriate areas of service.
* Tracks, reports, and monitors standards or updates to remain in compliance with state licensure, HCFA, federal regulations (OSHA CLIA, etc.
), and accreditation boards.
* Maintains contact with the organization’s legal counsel, accountant, and Employer’s Guardian to assure all center activities meet legal and ethical requirements.
Cost Controls Duties: * Ensures fiscal management and controls are in accordance with organization's long-term goals.
* Prepares, controls, and evaluates center operating budgets and approves all center purchases in support of appropriate inventory levels.
* Maintains an effective billing system that ensures accurate billing and prompt collection services, as well as build an allowance for debt and third-party reimbursements.
* Supervises special financial agreements for patients that include deferred payments and third-party payment plans.
* Sets measurable and attainable accounts receivable levels for the center while providing a timely feedback cycle.
* Completes appropriate financial management responsibilities and reporting as required while maintaining accuracy for projected financial profiles in the evaluation of efficient resource allocation.
Marketing and Positioning Duties: * Develops, implements, evaluates, and executes a successful marketing plan that focuses on patient care and the services the center offers.
* Ensures that marketing initiatives are consistent with the community relations philosophy by staying apprised of competition and developing strategies that enhance the organization’s competitive positioning.
* Manages relationships and agreement(s) with Physician Partners by maintaining awareness of affiliates programs, services, and lines of business to make connections in support of patients' needs.
* Promotes the organization to the local community and to local business leaders to build company awareness by using a variety of media, such as newsletters, flyers, brochures, booklets.
* Builds and maintains strong matrix relationships with associated medical foundations and affiliates.
* Responsible for educating all internal audiences on the organization’s policies and procedures through repetition.
* May be required to travel.
Risk Control Duties: * Works closely with Executive Leadership for implementing a plan that limits risk exposure, workers' compensation exposure.
* Ensures a safe and secure work environment for patients and employees that focuses on proactive maintenance and training.
* Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment only under general supervision.
Supervisory Duties: * Holds direct reports accountable for each deliverable's performance and quality, ensuring that they are timely, complete, and up to company standards and ensuring the Company's core values are upheld.
* Manages employee performance with a consistent and constructive feedback cycle that takes a collaborative approach to employee development.
Administers additional training and issues progressive discipline when appropriate.
* Proactively conducts workforce planning to ensure staffing availability meets service or product demands.
* Reviews punctuality and attendance timekeeping reports while holding employees accountable for company policy.
Provides coaching, training, and progressive disciplinary action when necessary.
* Monitors and consistently enforces all meal and rest break policies for staff by ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Audits employee timekeeping records for accuracy and ensures that meal and rest breaks are taken in a timely manner per company policy.
Schedules meal breaks when appropriate.
* Communicates with staff on company policy or procedure changes and provides guidance or training when necessary.
* Adapts or develops departmental training materials based on workforce skillset, conducts, or schedules training to meet company goals.
Ensures compliance training requirements are met and conducted timely and in accordance with agency requirements.
