`*Wine & Spirits Division Manager* · Create and administrate annual sales and marketing plans and budgets.
· Develop a Supplier Service Policy and a marketing calendar for all suppliers.
· Develop and implement portfolio strategy.
Manage the SKU Rationalization process.
· Seek out new Wine & Spirit items that match our strategy for portfolio.
· Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to achieve “preferred supplier status” in the market.
· Spend 75% of time in the market with employees, customers and suppliers.
· Monthly Wine sales staff training.
· Support Sales staff by being lead sales person on new potential Wine & Spirit accounts.
· Analyze all sales and marketing performance related data; review with direct reports monthly or more frequently as needed.
· Oversee design of incentive / compensation programs along with performance measurement and monitoring.
· Actively maintain and strengthen appropriate peer level Supplier / Retailer Relationships.
· Maintain on and off premise key account visitation schedule assisting with presentations as required.
· Attend key account reviews and provide input to maximize the company’s presence in these accounts.
· Ensure direct reports adhere to and execute the supplier / account visitation schedules.
· Weekly calls on Top 5 Off-Premise accounts.
· Perform bi weekly samplings · Manage Sales Teams progress in Wine & Spirits business.
`Qualifications:``` - Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a multi-division setting - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
