As a facilities process engineer you are responsible for improving system design, optimizing efficiency, and heading up future improvement projects.
The facilities process engineering team knows every aspect of al the process systems and is in charge of the continuous improvement process needed to make MVF a world-class manufacturing facility.
As a process engineer, you will work closely with bulk chemical and gas distribution systems, pure water production, wastewater treatment, and process exhaust abatement systems.
The Day-to-Day
Conduct technical evaluations for support planning, design, operations and maintenance related to the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems, wastewater treatment systems, specialty gas and chemical distribution systems, bulk gas systems (N2, O2, Argon), clean dry air (CDA), process vacuum, process cooling water (PCW), stormwater and environmental system improvements, etc.
Solving complex problems while working with manufacturing departments, contractors, suppliers and customers considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints.
Provide project management of major and minor Facility projects.
Direct A/E firms during the design process and the Construction firms and/or its subcontractors in the installation of complex process equipment/systems, utility equipment/systems, Can address safety, quality, cost, schedule and resource demands.
Prepare purchase specifications to procure owner furnished equipment, prepare construction bid packages, and evaluate bids.
Ability to prepare funding estimates, establish budgets, control costs and administer contracts.
Working with other professionals, within and outside the Facilities engineering department (manufacturing, maintenance, operations, accounting, administration, management, scientists, etc.
) to develop design criteria, project scopes, schedules, and funding requests to successfully define and deliver project.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
5-10 years of experience with an Engineering degree required to develop engineering guidelines and specifications.
Very diverse in understanding the electrical, mechanical, architectural design and construction disciplines and proficient in either chemical, or process engineering for semiconductor services.
Experience with HazOps; PHA’s; and root cause analysis tools and comfortable working around hazardous materials.
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position.
Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors.
In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
Compensation Range:
$82,000.
00 - $112,000.
00
