Principal Service Solutions is hiring an QAQC Technician.
This is a contract position with full benefits and training in Marcy, New York.

00/hour SUMMARY: Responsible for the Technical support of all quality assurance and quality control activities onsite during installation and sustaining activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs onsite analysis and assessments utilizing Lean tools and principles.
Monitors procedures and ensures verification of processes.
Serves as the primary QA/QC contact and coordinates all QA/QC activities in support of job site(s).
QA/QC · Support implementation of cost, quality, and installation improvement initiatives.
· Conduct Site Quality Audits.
· Maintain Audits and Quality Events in EHS Insight Database.
· Create, distribute, collect and review QAQC Check sheets with our mechanical, electrical and adjustment teams.
· Perform duties associated with corrective actions, auditing, and metric reporting by utilizing lean principles and root cause analysis tools.
· Support Company’s commitment to a culture of safe work practices and safety excellence.
Training · Support training to help installation teams deliver a high-quality installation.
· Assist site managers and installation leadership in developing expectations for contractors.
· Coordinate and verify appropriate methods and clarification of work instructions.
Business Process · Analyze and addresses gaps in processes that lead to quality issues.
· Utilize Lean methodologies and root cause analysis tools to support investigations and process improvements.
· Work with cross functional teams such as quality, install, service, and customers.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring and supporting QA/QC programs.
Experience with continuous improvement methods, concepts, and training in Lean skills.
Familiarity with construction contractors a plus or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Excellent oral and written communication in English.
Japanese language ability a plus.
Ability to articulate problems to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bilingual English/Japanese is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
