For candidates based in New York State, this position starts at $24.

This job includes batching, legal pasteurization, filling, setting, separating, and storage of all products according to plant SOPs and the PMO.
Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs.
Operation of the HTST while maintaining legal pasteurization requirements.
Proper documentation for all charts and records in accordance with NYS AG+MKTS legal requirements.
Follow the company formulation and SOP for batching and legal pasteurization of products.
Ensure the correct ingredients amounts are being used and documented.
Perform a daily inventory of products in the processing area at end of shift.
Assist with the setting and breaking all yogurt silos according to SOPs.
Start up and operation of Greek yogurt separators for production.
This individual must have the ability to CIP all tanks, lines, and equipment associated with processing.
Work in conjunction with manufacturing employees to properly transfer raw ingredients and pasteurized skim.
Assist in the cottage cheese vat room when needed to cut vats.
Will be required to perform assigned sanitary PM tasks monthly.
Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.
Keep all work areas, including the ingredient storage area, neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements.
Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.
Must stay until job is completed or relieved.
Must perform any other assignment by a Supervisor or Foreman.
