CABVI is seeking a Payroll Associate to process and maintain payroll for all divisions of CABVI.
*Responsibiliites Include:*
* Organize and complete payroll maintenance.
Apply changes and file documentation
* Process and distribute (sorts, mails, hands out) biweekly paychecks/statements, flyers and edits distribution lists as needed.
* Perform weekly timecard audits.
* Provide answers to payroll questions and information for requests in a timely manner.
* Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
* Understand federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards, and CABVI policies, and monitor their application to ensure compliance.
* Assist with maintaining and updating payroll procedures.
* Enter data into biweekly Direct Labor Report.
* Update, verify and complete biweekly payroll reports, garnishments, donations, and flexible spending contributions.
* Update, verify and complete monthly payroll reports.
*Requirements Include:*
* High school graduate or equivalent required with a minimum of two years’ experience in payroll administration.
Two-year degree in accounting, business or Human Resources preferred.
Experience with ADP a plus.
* Must have ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, consumers, CABVI employees, and the general public.
Must have excellent listening skills.
* Requires expertise with databases, Excel, Microsoft Word and computerized payroll.
Requires statistical and mathematical skills and thorough knowledge of state and federal payroll and employment regulations.
Must be willing to learn new technology.
* Must maintain a strict adherence to CABVI’s mission statement.
